Job summary
A leading recruitment firm in Singapore is seeking an accounting assistant for a 6-month contract. Your responsibilities include checking invoices, processing intercompany invoices, retrieving documents for audits, and assisting with receivables. Candidates should have a diploma and relevant accounting experience, including SAP, AR, and AP. This role offers a great opportunity to gain exposure in invoice processing within a professional setting.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting required.
- At least 1 year of experience using SAP software.
- 1 year of experience in Accounts Receivable is a must.
- 1 year of experience in Accounts Payable is necessary.
Responsibilities
- Check invoices for order accuracy before processing.
- Process monthly intercompany and vendor invoices.
- Retrieve documents for audits and reporting.
- Assist with receivables communication and liaising.
- Prepare various reports and assist in system testing.
Skills
Education
Location: 3 Changi North Street 2 (7 bus stop from Simei MRT)
Contract Terms: 6 Months Contract
- Assists in checking if invoices are in order (i.e. amount ties to purchase order, goods are MIGO in accounting software, etc) before they are processed into accounting software
- Assists in monthly processing of intercompany invoices and other vendors invoices into accounting software
- Assists in retrieving documents (physical or softcopy) when needed (i.e. audits, monthly reporting, etc)
- Assists in tasks relating to receivables
- Assists in communication and liaising with external parties when needed
- Assists in preparing reports
- Assists in system/process upgrade testing
- Any other ad-hoc tasks
Accounting: Minimum 2 years
SAP Experience: Minimum 1 year
AR Experience: Minimum 1 year
AP Experience: Minimum 1 year
Qualification: Diploma
