Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Maintenance Technician (Mechanical) responsible for maintaining and repairing the mechanical systems within the Data Centre.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Carry out the installation of air conditioning and mechanical ventilation fans, chilled water piping, fan coil units, CRAH units including testing & commissioning.
2. Perform control wiring and final power cabling installation for air conditioning and mechanical ventilation systems.
3. Conduct in-house daily, weekly, monthly inspections and generator no load tests.
4. Perform preventive maintenance on data centre air conditioning and mechanical ventilation systems, such as cooling towers, pumps, CRAH, fan wall units, chilled water FCUs, DX FCUs, condenser units, MV fans, including washing cooling towers, greasing fans, bearings, motors, pumps, and performing alignment & vibration checks.
5. Respond to BMS alarms and guide on-duty operations technicians to reset alarms.
6. Update asset lists, MOPs, SOPs, inspection reports, space, power & cooling capacity reports, and prepare maintenance schedules, facilities reports, and service reports.
