We are looking for an experienced Events and Sales Manager who is motivated to make an impact and passionate about hospitality. You will represent multiple outlets, allowing you to meet our diverse audience’s needs. Candidates must be willing to actively prospect for new business and demonstrate the ability to establish unique revenue streams. You will participate in establishing sales targets and corresponding budgets, as well as implementing marketing strategies to exceed those targets. JOB DUTIES
Develop and implement a comprehensive Business Development plan to meet and exceed individual sales goals
Conceptualize sales collateral and marketing materials to support department programs
Prepare the required paperwork for venue booking and the processing and settling of payments
Conduct market/industry research and identify potential market segments and client demographics to actively source for new revenue streams
Build relationships with corporate clients and event planners to increase referral business
Provide input on annual Sales forecasts and corresponding departmental budgets
Create best-in-class experiences for our Event clients throughout the entire process
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments to execute events and provide outstanding guest service
PREREQUISITES
Minimum 3 years of experience exceeding quota in a performance-driven environment: Business Development, Partnerships and/or Sales
Takes initiative and demonstrates the ability to work without supervision
Hospitality mindset balanced with strong financial competency
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
Excellent communicator with exceptional negotiation skills
Ability to manage multiple projects independently
Proficiency with TripleSeat is a plus*
