Job summary

A civil engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a Civil & Structural Engineer to ensure efficient design and coordination on projects. The ideal candidate will have a Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, combined with at least 3 years of relevant design management experience, particularly in geotechnical works for deep foundations. The role involves liaising with stakeholders and resolving design issues, ensuring that design intent is accurately conveyed through site drawings and specifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant design management/coordination experience on similar projects.
• Experience in geotechnical works for deep excavation foundation works.
• Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient Civil & Structural and Geotechnical design according to standards.
• Liaise with internal and external parties on design matters.
• Coordinate review of Contractor's submissions and provide timely responses.
• Identify and resolve design issues during construction phase.
• Translate design intent to construction through accurate drawings.
