Job summary
A construction company in Singapore is seeking a project manager to oversee the execution and completion of construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing and monitoring construction programmes, supervising operations, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety regulations. Strong organizational skills and the ability to solve technical issues are necessary. Applicants should have relevant experience in construction management.
Responsibilities
- Overall execution and completion of the project.
- Prepare and monitor the Master and Short-term Construction Programmes.
- Appraise the suitability of construction techniques and methods.

- Carry out simple design calculations
- Monitor the day-to-day operations of the project
- Supervision and monitoring of the project's progress
- Solve technical problems encountered
- Corresponding with Client, Consultants and subcontractors to ensure smooth operations of the project
- Ensure that all construction are done according to the specific drawings, certification and quality
- Co-ordination of subcontractors for all the projects
- Overseeing the implementation of the Project Quality Plan
- Ensuring the implementation of safety regulations and good housekeeping practice at site
- Process and finalisation of claims
