Job summary

A leading engineering firm based in Singapore is seeking a Civil & Structural Engineer to design and analyze engineering works, prepare calculations and liaise with consultants and subcontractors. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of coordination experience and a diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering. This role is essential for ensuring project specifications are met and activities are aligned with design drawings.

Qualifications

Job description

Responsibilities

• Design, analysis and plan for Civil & Structural engineering works
• Prepare design calculations, drawings and carry out Authority submissions
• Responsible for timely submission of plans and reports to Consultant and Authorities
• To coordinate & liaise with consultant, sub-con and other trades such M&E and architectural for projects specifications & other technical issues
• To assist in project coordination and oversee of all structural/Civil works on site and ensure all related activities are carried out as per drawings
• Attend meetings inclusive technical meetings (not withstanding to minutes down the meeting if necessary) and site walks during the construction phase of project
• Keep track of test reports, tests, ST, Green Mark scheme and constructability scheme
• Document control and compilation accordance to company ISO standard

Requirements

• Min Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering / Building
• Min 5 years structural coordinator experience
• Good knowledge of structural specifications & requirements
