Job summary

A leading technology company based in Singapore is seeking a technician for equipment and instrumentation calibration and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of relevant experience in the Pharmaceutical or related sectors and hold a Diploma in Electrical & Instrumentation. Responsibilities include executing work orders, managing contractors, and supporting project qualifications. This role requires strong knowledge of electrical systems and good communication skills, with the ability to work on a 12-hour shift schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years relevant experience in Pharmaceutical/Food/Petrochemical/Chemical/Nutritional.
• Knowledge in Six Sigma and Lean concepts is an advantage.
• Ability to support 12-hour shift work.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for equipment and instrumentation calibration and maintenance.
• Support equipment qualification processes.
• Execute work orders and record jobs via MAXIMO system.
• Lead contractors and service providers for maintenance.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects.

Job description

Job Scope

• Responsible for equipment and instrumentation calibration and maintenance (corrective, preventive, predictive) of plant and other manufacturing and warehouse equipment in comply with the Site Safety and GMP procedures.
• Responsible for support the equipment qualification such as walkdown, punchlist, commissioning, IQ on any new project.
• Responsible for execution of work order and record job performed via MAXIMO system.
• Manage and lead contractor, vendors and service providers to perform maintenance works.
• Take part in continuous improvement efforts/projects or JDI.
• Carry out other work or task as directed by Engineer or Manager.

Requirements

• Good knowledge of electrical and Instrumentation. Knowledge in Six Sigma and Lean concept will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience in Pharmaceutical/Food/Petrochemical/Chemical/Nutritional or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• ITC/NITEC/Diploma in Electrical & Instrumentation or related discipline.
• Able to support 12 hours shift work.
