Job summary
An engineering consultancy firm in Singapore is seeking an Assistant Electrical Engineer. Responsibilities
- Conduct partial discharge measurements for HV electrical assets.
- Perform offline cable testing for cables rated above 6.6kV.
- Execute Infra-Red Thermography for switchboards.
- Measure lightning protection and earthing systems.
- Assist project teams with servicing maintenance work.

Position: Assistant Electrical Engineer (CM)
- Salary: $2,800 to $3,000 + AWS + VB
- Working Days: Monday to Friday (815am-530pm)
- Working Location: Joo Koon
(Transport is provided from 6 MRT pickup points ie: Paya Lebar, Serangoon NEX, Bishan, Jurong East, Joon Koon, Woodlands)
- Training Provided
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- Online and Offline Partial Discharge Measurements for HV electrical assets such as cables, transformers, switchgears, motors and generators
- Offline Cable testings (Hi-pot test, Megger test, Tangent Delta test) above 6.6kV rated Cables
- Infra-Red Thermography for HV and LV Switchboards
- Lightning protection and earthing system measurement.
- Assist to servicing maintenance work by project teams.
- Handling of multiple test equipment from Omicron, Doble Engineering, Qualitrol, IRIS Power, EA Technology, HVPD, PDS, B2 and IPEC
