Job description

Overview

The role is required to ensure the reliable operation of electrical systems and equipment while driving energy efficiency and cost optimization within the plant. They are also responsible for upholding electrical safety standards and ensuring regulatory compliance. This includes developing and implementing safety protocols, conducting regular audits and inspections, and training personnel on electrical safety practices.

Job Responsibilities

• Plan and review the replacement schedule for electrical equipment.
• Conduct root cause analysis for complex equipment breakdowns and prepare exceptional reports.
• Recommend modifications to equipment as needed.
• Oversee the schedule for electrical-related equipment during SDM tasks.
• Respond promptly to urgent breakdown incidents.
• Review and develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to electrical systems to optimize energy consumption.
• Manage the yearly preventive maintenance shutdown of the sub-station.
• Address all electrical-related troubleshooting issues.
• Manage and update inventory records.
• Review, prepare, and provide input for Risk Assessments.

Job Requirements

• Min Diploma orBachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Elelectrical Engineering or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in MNC or chemical plant environment.
