Reporting to:

Director of Business Development

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategies to grow business in assigned markets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities while managing and expanding existing key accounts.
  • Conduct client visits, prepare sales proposals, and confidently present EnergyEdge’s training solutions.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Analyze market trends and learning & development needs to inform business decisions and improve client performance.
Team Leadership
  • Lead and mentor 1 business development professional.
  • Set performance goals for team members and provide regular feedback.
  • Foster a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of training solutions.
Strategic Learning & Development:
  • Develop strategic learning initiatives aligned with market demands and client needs.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in learning and development.
  • Work with the product development team to create innovative training solutions.
  • Ensure the quality and effectiveness of delivered training programs.
Performance Management:
  • Maintain high levels of sales productivity, including client meetings, CRM activities, and proposal generation.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for both individual and team performance.
  • Continuously optimize processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, with a focus on learning and development solutions.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing key accounts.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and learning management platforms.
  • Deep understanding of adult learning principles and corporate training methodologies.
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
