Overall Job Responsibility
As part of the Partnerships team, you will work with the team to establish and manage strategic partnerships with organisations which are keen to partner SG Enable on multiple fronts to bring significant brand value, assets, and/or resources to SG Enable. You will also take lead in promoting and advancing disability-inclusive practices in identified sectors by working with a cross-division team
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Partnerships Development and Management
- Identify, engage and manage local and international partners interested in collaborating with SG Enable across its business areas such as inclusive employment and training, disability support and services, accessibility and innovation projects, and community integration, by coordinating with internal business units, where relevant
- Serve as Account Manager for assigned strategic partners, and as key point of contact to coordinate cross-functional efforts with relevant internal business units to ensure alignment and timely execution of agreed partnerships outcomes
2. Functional Role: Volunteerism
(a) Organisation-wide Volunteer Management
- Lead and coordinate SG Enable’s volunteer management framework to meet organisation-wide and business unit needs.
- Work closely with divisions and units to scope, design and implement volunteer opportunities aligned to programme objectives and organisational priorities.
- Review systems and processes to ensure consistent volunteer onboarding, engagement, recognition, and tracking across the organisation.
(b) Corporate and Skills-based Volunteer Engagement (in collaboration with Business Units)
- Develop and implement, in close collaboration with business units, a partnership strategy to engage corporate and community partners in volunteering with SG Enable.
- Co-create with business units’ meaningful opportunities for both skilled volunteerism (e.g. pro bono expertise, mentoring, training) and ad‑hoc event‑based volunteer support that respond directly to programme needs.
- Strengthen relationships with corporate partners to build sustained engagement and advocate for disability inclusion in their corporate social responsibility and employee engagement efforts.
(c) Volunteerism Among Persons with Disabilities
- Develop strategies to engage volunteers with disabilities, providing them with opportunities to contribute meaningfully to the community and sector.
- Curate inclusive volunteer roles and pathways that build confidence, skills, and leadership among persons with disabilities.
- Facilitate platforms for persons with disabilities volunteers to share their lived experiences and perspectives, contributing to policy and service design discussions in SG Enable’s role as sector enabler and developer.
(d) Cultivation of Volunteer Advocates and Community Champions
- Identify, nurture and empower volunteers and caregivers as advocates for inclusion, amplifying their voices as community champions of SG Enable’s mission.
- Build and sustain networks of volunteers and advocates who can support outreach, public education, and sector initiatives.
- Develop recognition frameworks and storytelling opportunities to celebrate the contributions and impact of volunteers and advocates.
3. Sector Lead Role
- Front and triage new interests from organisations in assigned sectors to relevant divisions for further engagement and follow‑up.
- Build and maintain relationships with organisations interested in areas of work overseen by the Partnerships team (CI, Volunteerism, International Relations, Corporate relations) to deepen partnerships.
- Conduct sectoral scans and maintain an up‑to‑date understanding of the landscape to identify key players, emerging trends and new opportunities; surface sector‑specific opportunities and priorities to relevant divisions to support coordinated and strategic engagements.
4. Operational and Administrative Support
- Support the team in managing the Partnerships mailbox: triage incoming queries, direct them to the appropriate business units, and track follow‑ups to ensure timely closure.
- Provide administrative support, including scheduling of meetings, preparation of meeting materials and minute‑taking.
- Represent SG Enable at partnership‑related events such as networking events, webinars.
- Undertake additional duties and special projects as assigned to support broader team and organisational goals.
Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience
- Degree holder in relevant discipline
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including proven experience in business development, corporate relations, partnership development, stakeholder engagement or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Demonstrable ability to think strategically, identify opportunities, and negotiate partnerships that align with organisational goals
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Strong team player and able to work independently
- Passion for the organisation’s mission and a commitment to making a positive social impact
- Proficient in Outlook, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Ability to perform data analytics is a plus
