Reporting to:
Director of Business Development
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategies to grow business in assigned markets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities while managing and expanding existing key accounts.
- Conduct client visits, prepare sales proposals, and confidently present EnergyEdge’s training solutions.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Analyze market trends and learning & development needs to inform business decisions and improve client performance.
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor 1 business development professional.
- Set performance goals for team members and provide regular feedback.
- Foster a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of training solutions.
Strategic Learning & Development:
- Develop strategic learning initiatives aligned with market demands and client needs.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in learning and development.
- Work with the product development team to create innovative training solutions.
- Ensure the quality and effectiveness of delivered training programs.
Performance Management:
- Maintain high levels of sales productivity, including client meetings, CRM activities, and proposal generation.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for both individual and team performance.
- Continuously optimize processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, with a focus on learning and development solutions.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing key accounts.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and learning management platforms.
- Deep understanding of adult learning principles and corporate training methodologies.
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
