Job summary
An educational services provider in Singapore is seeking an Executive, Educational Technology to drive digital transformation and design ICT programs that enhance students' digital literacy and employability skills. The role involves collaboration with various stakeholders, ensuring that ICT and AI initiatives are relevant and impactful. The ideal candidate must have a diploma or degree in a related field and at least three years of experience in an IT environment, along with strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.

Skills
Education
The Executive, Educational Technology (ETE) supports the HOD (EdTech/ICT) in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of ICT and digital learning strategies. This role strengthens the school's capacity to use Technology, including artificial intelligence (AI), for teaching, learning, and operations, while equipping students with essential digital and future-ready skills. The position requires close collaboration with MOE's Information Technology Division and Special Educational Branch (SEB) Division, APSN HQ Infocomm, and school stakeholders to ensure ICT and AI initiatives are innovative, ethical, impactful, and aligned with both curriculum and organisational priorities.
- Work with the HOD EdTech/ICT to drive digital transformation by identifying, piloting, and scaling impactful ICT and AI tools and applications.
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies for special education applications, ensuring inclusivity, sustainability, and alignment with school priorities.
- Design and deliver engaging ICT programmes that build students’ digital literacy, safe and ethical use of technology and AI, and practical skills for learning, employability, and daily living.
- Support the introduction of AI-powered tools (e.g. adaptive learning platforms, assistive technologies) for personalised learning and accessibility.
- Mentor and build teacher capacity to adopt ICT and AI-enabled practices, tools, and applications that enhance pedagogy, classroom engagement, and student outcomes.
- Provide guidance on responsible AI integration in education, under the direction of the HOD.
- Oversee and track ICT funding and resources, ensuring effective utilisation, accountability, and sustainability.
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, students, and parents/caregivers to ensure ICT and AI initiatives meet practical needs.
- Support the HOD in building partnerships with external organisations and engaging parents/caregivers to enhance student skills, teacher competencies, and overall learning outcomes.
- Diploma/ Degree in Infocomm/ IT / Educational Technology or related field
- Preferably with at least 3 years of relevant experience in an Information Technology-related environment
- Passion for ICT, with an innovative spirit to drive digital transformation
- A collaborative team player with good interpersonal skills
- Good organisational skills and able to multi-task
- Customer-centric (prioritizing the needs and experiences of key stakeholders, the teachers, students, and school staff when implementing ICT solutions), analytical and strong problem-solving skills
