[Medical Device] Senior R&D Design Engineer
Job summary
A leading recruitment firm is seeking an experienced product development engineer to lead new product development and enhancements for medical devices. Responsibilities include managing product designs, supporting cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate should have a degree in engineering, at least 5 years of experience in the medical device sector, and proficiency in Creo. Strong background in mechanical design and knowledge of ISO standards are essential.
Qualifications
- 5+ years' experience in the medical device industry.
- Strong background in mechanical design and complex plastic parts.
- Knowledge of ISO 13485 or FDA QSR design controls.
Responsibilities
- Develop product designs based on customer needs.
- Manage new product development activities and DHF documentation.
- Enhance existing products through feedback and internal inputs.
- Provide technical support to cross-functional teams.
- Drive improvements in cost, quality, and delivery.
- Support project management for new designs.

Strong background in mechanical design, complex plastic parts, and medical standards
Proficient in Creo and innovative product design
Knowledge of ISO 13485 or FDA QSR design controls
Familiar with plastic injection molding and metal machining
