The Professional & Adult Continuing Education Academy (PACE) at Singapore Polytechnic is seeking a dedicated Assistant Manager to join our Programme Operations Division. At PACE, we are committed to empowering adult learners through innovative courses designed to enhance employability and drive career advancement. As a leader in Continuing Education and Training (CET), we foster a dynamic and supportive environment that values growth, collaboration, and excellence.

As the Assistant Manager, Placement Programmes, you will support the delivery of the Work Study Programmes (WSPs) and other placement programmes by managing the full spectrum of admissions, enrolment, and programme operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the admissions and enrolment lifecycle, including document verification, coordination with academic schools for application assessments, issuance of offers, enrolment processing, and ongoing monitoring of student progression.
  • Administer end‑to‑end programme operations such as creating course intakes within the training management system, handling student registrations and enquiries, scheduling classes, and coordinating logistical arrangements.
  • Review existing workflows and contribute to the redesign of processes to enhance operational efficiency and programme delivery.
  • Proactively identify operational gaps or risks that may affect programme execution and recommend solutions to ensure smooth implementation.
  • Support system enhancement initiatives by preparing functional requirements, participating in user acceptance testing, and conducting post‑implementation reviews, where required.
  • Serve as the main liaison for programme‑related enquiries, offering timely and professional support to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with cross–functional teams and external partners to ensure effective administration, logistics coordination, and system support across all programme activities.
  • Manage communications and feedback channels, ensuring that queries, issues, and stakeholder concerns are addressed promptly and with professionalism.
  • Provide support in placement facilitation activities.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5-6 years of relevant work experience.
  • Prior work experience in another educational institution would be advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and multitasking abilities with a positive attitude, thriving in fast‑paced environments with tight deadlines.
  • A meticulous and organized approach to work, with strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Thrives in both independent and collaborative work environments.
  • Proficiency in data management and analysis tools such as Excel and Power BI (optional).

Successful candidate will be offered a 2‑year contract in the first instance.
