Construction Supervisor
Job summary
A construction management firm in Singapore is looking for a candidate to assist project management and supervise subordinate workers. Responsibilities include monitoring work quality, ensuring compliance with project requirements, and collaborating with site operations to meet project schedules. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience, preferably in Structural Steel, and possess strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in the related field is required.
- Experience in Structural Steel is advantageous.
- Highly proactive, self-motivated, and a strong team player.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager or Project Engineer in daily execution of work.
- Supervise sub-contractors and in-house workers.
- Monitor progress and quality of work performed.
Skills
- To assist the Project Manager or Project Engineer in the daily execution of work.
- To supervise the work of sub-contractors and in-house workers.
- To work closely with other site operations staff to meet the project schedule.
- Ensure installation is carried out as per construction drawings.
- To monitor the progress and quality of work being performed by workers.
- Ensure that works are executed within an acceptable standard of workmanship.
- Attend the daily tool-box meeting and convey clear instruction accordingly.
- Understand and ensure compliance in project requirement and scope of work.
- At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Experiences in Structural Steel will be advantageous.
- Highly proactive attitude, self-motivated, team player, strong problem-solving and communication skills.
