Responsibilities

  • Manage the implementation of Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) frameworks by ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Design and implement programs to prevent workplace injuries and illnesses.

Workplace Safety and Health Framework Development and Implementation

Oversight of the development and implementation of Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) frameworks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

  • Manage the implementation of Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) frameworks by ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Conduct monthly dialogue sessions with EHS team members and ensure convening of monthly corporate EHS meetings.
  • Design and implement programs to prevent workplace injuries and illnesses.
  • Monitor health and safety metrics, analyzing trends to identify areas for improvement.
Stakeholder Management
  • Develop relationships, engage relevant stakeholders and facilitate alignment of stakeholders’ and project objectives.
EHS Strategy and Leadership
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive EHS strategy aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Lead and mentor Project teams fostering a proactive safety and environmental culture.
  • Provide strategic advice to senior leadership on EHS-related risks, opportunities, and initiatives.
Compliance and Risk Management
  • Ensure compliance with all EHS regulations, standards and other requirements that the Organization subscribes to.
  • Conduct regular audits to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to prevent workplace injuries, illnesses, and environmental harm.
Training and Development
  • Oversee the design of EHS training programs for employees, contractors, and leadership.

Stakeholder Engagement and Reporting
  • Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies, industry groups, and external stakeholders on EHS matters.

Continuous Improvement
  • Benchmark organizational EHS performance against industry standards and best practices.
