Network Security Engineer
Job summary
A prominent network solutions provider in Singapore is looking for a skilled network engineer to manage and support core network services, monitor infrastructure, and enhance security measures. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 3 years in network deployment, hold networking certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, and possess hands-on experience with Cisco and Fortinet technologies. Strong communication skills are essential for collaborating across teams in a dynamic work environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in network deployment and project implementation.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco switches, Aruba networks, and Fortinet firewalls.
- Knowledge of network services including DHCP and monitoring tools.
Responsibilities
- Maintain server room environments and ensure all network equipment operates optimally.
- Monitor and maintain wired and wireless networks, routing and switching infrastructure.
- Support global and local network connectivity, proactively identifying and resolving issues.

- Maintain server room environments and ensure all network equipment operates optimally
- Manage and support core network services including RADIUS, DNS, and DHCP
- Monitor and maintain wired and wireless networks, routing and switching infrastructure
- Perform first-level monitoring of firewalls and respond to potential security threats
- Support global and local network connectivity, proactively identifying and resolving issues
- Ensure readiness of BCP / hybrid work infrastructure
- Patch and update network devices to address vulnerabilities and security risks
- Coordinate with security teams to remediate network vulnerabilities
- Manage vendor support, maintenance contracts, and renewals
- Respond to incidents within SLAs and provide follow-up recommendations
- Support network-related projects and contribute to documentation and procedures
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in network deployment and project implementation
- CCNA / CCNP or equivalent networking certification; security certification preferred
- Hands‑on experience with Cisco switches, Aruba networks, and Fortinet firewalls
- Experience with Cisco EWC, wireless access points, and Hyper‑V VMs
- Knowledge of network services (DHCP, MFA, monitoring tools) and Azure IaaS
- Experience working with vendors and service providers
- Strong communication skills with ability to work across technical and non‑technical teams
