Senior Manager - Governance and Compliance
Role Summary:
Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking for Senior Manager Governance and Compliance is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining robust governance, compliance, and risk management frameworks within the Residential Business Unit. The role ensures that all business activities comply with Qiddiya s policies, regulatory obligations, and best practices, supporting a culture of transparency, accountability, and ethical conduct.
Key Responsibilities:
Governance & Risk Management
- Develop and maintain governance frameworks and decision-making structures for the Residential BU.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, regulatory requirements, and delegations of authority.
- Identify governance and compliance risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with legal, audit, and corporate governance teams to ensure alignment across functions.
Compliance Oversight
- Lead internal compliance reviews and audits to ensure adherence to applicable laws and internal policies.
- Track and report on compliance status, risks, and mitigation efforts.
- Ensure timely resolution of non-compliance issues and continuous improvement in compliance performance.
Policy Development & Implementation
- Draft and implement governance and compliance policies, templates, and procedures tailored to the Residential BU.
- Ensure policies are up to date with legal and regulatory changes.
- Provide training to staff on policy updates, compliance procedures, and governance expectations.
Committee & Reporting Management
- Support BU committees with structured governance practices, agenda development, documentation, and action tracking.
- Ensure all governance submissions are aligned with internal standards and approval protocols.
- Prepare governance and compliance reports for senior leadership.
Stakeholder & Team Leadership
- Act as the primary advisor for governance and compliance matters within the Residential BU.
- Manage and mentor a team of governance and compliance professionals.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including regulators, auditors, and executive teams.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 10 - 12 years of experience in governance, compliance, or risk management.
- Minimum 3 years in a senior or managerial role, ideally within real estate or development sectors.
- Strong knowledge of governance frameworks and compliance systems.
- Familiarity with KSA regulations and PIF governance standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and GRC tools.
- Strong leadership and strategic thinking.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Integrity, professionalism, and a proactive approach to compliance.
