Qualifications

  • License to perform veterinary services.
  • Age less than 40 years.

Responsibilities

  • Treat sick or injured animals by prescribing medication and performing surgery.

  • Promote animal health by advising on general care and sanitation measures.
  • Document actions and update animal records.
  • Ensure compliance with veterinary procedures and regulations.

Veterinarian Doctor – Large Animal

A well known FMCG group in Saudi Arabia is looking to hire a Veterinarian Doctor – Large Animal.

Responsibilities
  • Treat sick or injured animals by prescribing medication, dressing wounds, performing surgery, and setting bones.
  • Educate the public about diseases and infections that are transferable from animals to humans.
  • Promote the health and wellness of animals by advising company management about sanitation measures, feeding and general care.
  • Record actions by documenting and updating forms, reports, animal records and reporting diseases to public health officials.
  • Ensure compliance with veterinary procedures, ethics, policies, and relevant statutes.
  • Establish or carry out quarantine or testing procedures that combat the spread of diseases to humans or to other animals according to established government regulations.
  • Euthanise animals in situations they see fit such as in the case of a terminal illness.
Requirements
  • Doctor of veterinary medicine degree or equivalent.
  • From 7-10 years of experience as a veterinarian (preferred in KSA).
  • License to perform veterinary services.
  • Ability to multitask and perform diligently in a fast‐paced environment.
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively.
  • Age less than 40 years.
