Job Overview

Testing Engineer – Saudi Arabia / Jeddah. Join our Smart Infrastructure team in Siemens Electrification and Automation Division to test medium/high voltage systems.

Responsibilities

• Test Medium Voltage Switchgear, Protection and Control panels.
• Attend client FATs; prepare punch lists and conduct scheme testing.
• Perform CT, VT, contact resistance, meter, relay, ATS, BB Earth switch checks, and scheme modifications.
• Coordinate design implementation and quality assurance.
• Monitor FIT & FAT within the defined timeframe.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and store sections to improve processes.
• Update QC processes and follow up with QC staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in testing.
• Excellent English language skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of MV/LV switchgear, protection, control & SCADA systems.
• Experience with protective relays (ABB, GE, Alstom, SEL, etc.) and Siemens Digsi5.
• Proficiency with testing equipment: Omicron, CT Analyzer, Savarkar, contact resistance tester, etc.
