Key job responsibilities

• Operate Payments goals and P&L in collaboration with Payments Country Lead. These goals and initiatives are across improving payment experience, affordability, access, engagement and reducing costs.
• Contribute in Payments product strategy and the prioritization for the country, across different payment products & programmes.
• Lead specific payment programs end to end, including its strategy, P&L and initiatives.
• Foster partnership strategies in the KSA Payments ecosystem to enhance the payment offering of Amazon.sa
• Secure, sign-up, and manage working relationships with Payment partners. Negotiate and finalize business contracts with partners, ensuring favourable terms for Amazon.sa.
• Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies in the fintech and payments space.
• Represent Amazon.sa at Payments industry events and conferences to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
• Represent Payment's team internally to larger Amazon.sa team. Collaborate with internal Payments Team (Product, Finance, Legal, and Ops) and broader Amazon.sa team (leadership, marketing, finance) to achieve the goals and objectives.
• Contribute to Payment planning for Amazon shopping events and key strategic programmes. Contributes to the customer/market research and benchmarking studies, to provide localized inputs.

Basic Qualifications

• MBA
• Experience structuring and negotiating complex agreements and leading cross-functional groups to orchestrate and successfully complete deals
• 6+ years of professional or military experience
• Knowledge of Excel at an advanced level
• Strong understanding of payment ecosystems, including traditional banking, alternative payment methods, and emerging fintech solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• 6+ years of Payment Industry experience in partnership management, preferably in the banking, fintech, or e-commerce sectors.
