Job Description
Platform Design and Architecture
- Develop and maintain the overall architectural blueprint of the ServiceNow platform.
 
- Ensure the platform architecture aligns with industry best practices and organizational standards.
 
- Design scalable and secure solutions that leverage the full capabilities of the ServiceNow platform.
 
Implementation and Integration
- Lead the implementation of ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, and others as required.
 
- Oversee the integration of ServiceNow with other enterprise systems and applications.
 
- Ensure data consistency and integrity across the platform and integrated systems.
 
Customization and Development
- Oversee the customization of ServiceNow applications to meet specific business needs.
 
- Lead the development of custom applications and modules on the ServiceNow platform.
 
- Ensure all customizations and developments are properly documented and maintainable.
 
Governance and Best Practices
- Establish and enforce platform governance and best practices.
 
- Conduct regular reviews of platform performance, scalability, and security.
 
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
 
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions. Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
 
- Provide technical guidance and support to the development and administrative teams.
 
- Communicate effectively with senior management and other stakeholders on platform strategy and performance.
 
Continuous Improvement
- Stay updated with the latest ServiceNow features, releases, and industry trends.
 
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation using the ServiceNow platform.
 
- Lead initiatives to enhance the user experience and overall efficiency of the platform.
 
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
 
Experience
- 7+ years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years of experience working with the ServiceNow platform.
 
- Proven experience in ServiceNow implementation, customization, and integration.
 
- Experience in a leadership or architectural role within a complex IT environment.
 
Certifications
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) required.
 
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) preferred.
 
- Additional ServiceNow certifications (e.g., ITSM, ITOM) are a plus.
 
Skills
- In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, etc.).
 
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities and architecture.
 
- Proficiency in ServiceNow development (JavaScript, Glide API, REST/SOAP APIs).
 
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
 
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
 
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
