Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain project schedules using industry-standard scheduling software
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to create realistic and achievable project schedules
  • Monitor project progress and identify any potential delays, risks, or issues
  • Provide recommendations and solutions to mitigate delays and ensure project schedule is on track
  • Conduct regular schedule reviews and progress meetings with project team members
  • Communicate schedule updates and changes to stakeholders and project team members
  • Analyze project data and provide insights to improve scheduling and control processes
  • Train and mentor junior scheduling engineers on best practices and procedures
  • Participate in project meetings and provide updates on schedule status
  • Ensure compliance with project schedule requirements and contractual obligations
  • Continuously monitor and improve project scheduling and control procedures to maximize efficiency and accuracy
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in scheduling and control for construction projects
  • Proficient in industry-standard scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project
  • Strong understanding of construction processes and project management principles
