An international consultancy is looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Riyadh. A respected international consultancy is seeking an accomplished Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its growing team in Riyadh. Operating across global construction, infrastructure, engineering, and industrial markets, the organisation delivers high-quality cost and commercial management services on complex, high-value projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on major programmes while contributing to value-driven solutions for clients across multiple sectors.

Overview

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in delivering comprehensive cost management services throughout the full project lifecycle. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure robust cost control and best-practice commercial processes are maintained across construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide effective cost control, ensuring budgets are monitored and updated throughout project delivery
  • Prepare and manage detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ)
  • Produce accurate and timely cost reports and financial updates
  • Lead and support cost planning, ensuring value-for-money solutions align with project objectives
  • Contribute to commercial strategy and contract administration
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes
Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Strong experience in Cost Control, Cost Management, and Cost Planning
  • Proven ability in preparing and managing BOQs
  • Demonstrated experience in producing robust cost reporting
  • Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem‑solving capabilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse project teams
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline
  • RICS membership or equivalent professional accreditation is highly desirable
  • Previous experience within civil / building construction preferred
  • Prior exposure to international projects will be considered an advantage
