Qualifications

Overview

AtkinsRealis are looking for a Senior Project Manager (Residential & Commercial Buildings) for a mega project in Riyadh, KSA.

Your role
  • AtkinsRealis Scope: DMS (Design Management and Supervision Consultant).
  • Project, Design, Construction Management.
  • Construction Supervision.
  • Contract Administration.
  • Reporting to the Project Director, organize the project management team (6 persons) in relation to the daily and weekly priorities and work packages, be responsible for project management functionality for the project.
  • Chair and lead weekly progress meetings with the client, organizing for the minutes and records to be recorded and kept on a weekly basis.
  • Review and lead in the contribution to weekly and monthly progress reports
  • Attend, contribute and lead as appropriate the weekly planning sessions "last planner methodology" with the contractor, client and consultant team, coordinating the weekly validation of progress with the planning and supervision teams to plan and forecast away each week against baseline.
  • Lead HSE across the project, driving standards and assuring compliance with the management plans
  • Drive Quality standards across the site, assuring compliance with specification benchmarks and standards
  • Manage and drive the contractors procurement workstream, assuring their progression against plan and long lead/ critical path item procurement against plan.
  • Manage and coordinate with the Atkins Construction Supervision team assuring progression of submittals and supervision of the works in accordance with contract obligations and construction contract compliance
  • Review, assess and compose responses to contractual correspondence as "employers representative" supporting the Project Director in the administration of the contract.
  • Manage and control the project's cost and budget expenditure adhering to the employers' policies, process and procedures concerning change management and payments, in coordination and management of the project Cost Management consultant. Organize and coordinate attendance at the monthly interim payment application progress walk, and review/ comment against monthly cost reporting, advising the project director and cost consultant as appropriate to assure cost and expenditure remains aligned with progress, completion metrics and in accordance with the contract terms and conditions.
  • As required support the Project Director and Commercial Director in the assessment of claims and/or disputes arising from the contractor.
  • Liaise and manage the LDC in the response to RFI's and/or the production of design related information necessary to progress the works.
  • Coordinate and manage the AtkinsRealis sub-consultants of EoR (Engineer of Record) and Fire Life Safety Supervision Consultant, assuring works and responsibilities progress in accordance with plan.
About you
  • Between 10-15 years experience as Senior PM/ Associate Director.
  • Western educated preferred or experience of large multi national contractors/ consultants (AUS, NZ, USA, SA, UK).
  • Experience of GCC required, KSA preferred.
  • Degree qualified in Construction Management or related field.
