Overview

Senior Manager – Structural Engineering, for AtkinsRéalis, based in Neom, KSA.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Director – Structural Engineering to develop a comprehensive Structural Engineering strategy aligned with the LINE delivery strategy.
  • Assist the Director – Structural Engineering to develop implementation plans for Structural Engineering that consider project-specific requirements, timelines, and budgets, and align plans with the overarching mission and objectives.
  • Review and adopt studies carried out by the LINE Proponent team and the LINE Design Engineering team; develop further non-project initiatives as appropriate.
  • Utilize industry knowledge and network to source opportunities for Structural Engineering and evaluate technologies that align with goals and can be integrated into projects.
  • Establish and nurture strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and alliances with technology providers, research institutions, and industry experts to accelerate adoption of valued innovations.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and excellence; provide mentorship and guidance to ensure successful execution of the Structural Engineering strategy.
  • Demonstrate the ability to analyze complex issues and develop innovative solutions to overcome obstacles and ensure successful project execution.
  • Assist the Director – Structural Engineering to define KPIs to assess impact on project timelines, costs, and environmental footprint; regularly monitor and report progress to leadership.
Requirements
  • Assist in the successful delivery of the Structural Engineering Strategy, Design and Construction scope for THE LINE, supporting project goals in terms of budget, schedule, quality and sustainability; contribute to delivering multi-disciplinary engineering for THE LINE region.
  • Lead a team providing support to the LINE Design Project Engineering Management teams for regional assets; oversee LINE project procurement and management; work with THE LINE Design to set Structural Engineering strategies in conjunction with the Director – Structural Engineering.
  • Assist in the successful delivery of structural engineering systems in the LINE regional assets (regardless of delivery method).
Experience and Qualifications
  • Minimum of 22 years of experience in Structural Engineering and related fields.
  • Proven track record of managing relationships with diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities; ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
  • High level of emotional intelligence and diplomacy.
  • Relevant Bachelor’s Degree; Master’s Degree preferred.
  • Relevant Professional Memberships/Accreditations.
