Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer - Water to join our Riyadh-based team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex hydrology and stormwater design projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. You will play a key role in leading technical designs, supporting project delivery, and contributing to sustainable water infrastructure solutions in line with national and international best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver detailed design for hydrology and stormwater management systems.
  • Oversee and review hydraulic modelling, surface water drainage, flood risk assessments, and related infrastructure planning.
  • Prepare technical reports, design documentation, and client presentations.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate water design with other engineering disciplines.
  • Ensure compliance with Saudi building codes, local authority standards, and client specifications.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
  • Support business development activities by contributing to proposals and client engagement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 6-8 years of relevant experience in water infrastructure design, with a focus on hydrology and stormwater systems.
  • Proven track record of working on water-related projects in Saudi Arabia.
  • Strong knowledge of local design codes, regulations, and permitting processes in the Kingdom.
  • Proficient in using water modelling and design tools such as SWMM, HEC-RAS, InfoWorks, Civil 3D, or similar.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and client-facing skills.
  • Fluent in English (Arabic is an advantage).
