Description and Requirements
Primary Duties / Responsibilities
  • A working knowledge of and ability to apply laws and regulations related to global trade compliance is required with focus in Saudi Arabia and MEA region
  • Support the customs regulations in Saudi Arabia – primarily for the Lenovo Saudi Plant and Saudi Onshore (ZATCA, FASAH, SABER, CITC)
  • Support Customs audits for the Lenovo shipments (Inbound / Outbound) in Saudi Arabia and MEA region
  • Support Tax audits in Saudi Arabia and MEA region
  • Provide day to day assistance to business units on compliance with Customs and other government agencies.
  • Execute import / export compliance activities such as commodity jurisdictions, product classifications
  • D2D customs operational issues (e.g. take care that all documents, invoices, freight documents, Packaging list, T1 e.g are compliant for customs clearance).
  • Provide Product (HTS) classification for Saudi Arabia and MEA region in SAP system
  • Archiving and record keeping of customs related documents
  • Manage the Import tracker for Saudi Arabia (SA01, SA03)
  • D2D operational contact with broker, carrier and internal Lenovo departments
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in international business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Economics, Engineering or Law
  • 5+ years in import/export operations, international logistics, or trade compliance
  • Experience working with Customs clearance procedures, Freight forwarding, international shipping documentation, Regulatory compliance, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), Trade management systems (e.g., OCR/EASE)
