ZBRAND in Riyadh is seeking an Advanced Senior Accountant (7+ years of experience and CMA/CPA certified) to spearhead strategic accounting and financial operations. This pivotal role requires deep expertise not only in accurate Financial Reporting but also in Management Accounting, performance analysis, and cost control to drive strategic business planning.

Key Responsibilities (Focusing on Planning, Analysis, and Leadership)

1. Strategic Financial Management (CMA Focus)

• Planning & Budgeting: Lead the annual budgeting process and periodical financial forecasting in collaboration with department heads.
• Performance Analysis: Develop key performance indicators (KPIs), conduct in-depth variance analysis, and provide proactive recommendations to senior management for profitability improvement and cost efficiency.
• Cost Accounting: Oversee the cost accounting system to ensure accurate pricing and profitability margin analysis.
• Business Partnering: Serve as a strategic financial partner to non-financial departments (e.g., Operations, Sales) to support data-driven decision-making.

2. Reporting and Compliance (Technical Accounting)

• Oversee the monthly and annual financial close cycles, ensuring high quality and accuracy of financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS.
• Handle complex accounting reconciliations and journal entries, and assist in preparing consolidated financial statements.
• Lead internal and external audit coordination and ensure full compliance with Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority (ZATCA) requirements.

3. Leadership and Development

• Coach, mentor, and review the work of junior accounting staff, ensuring adherence to internal accounting policies and procedures.
• Drive continuous improvement of accounting systems and internal controls.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Master’s degree is a plus).
• Experience: Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial analysis, preferably with a focus on management accounting.
• Certification: Certified Management Accountant (CMA) is mandatory or highly preferred. (CPA or SOCPA certification is a strong advantage).
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (including data modeling and financial analysis) and extensive experience with large ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to provide technical leadership, strong critical thinking, and excellent communication skills to articulate complex financial insights to executive management.
