A prestigious hospital in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, seeks a Pediatric Anesthesia Consultant. In this role, you will provide high-quality anesthesiology care to pediatric patients, lead a dynamic medical team, and participate in teaching and research activities. Ideal candidates will have significant experience, board certification, and must be registered with the Saudi Board Council.

Qualifications

  • Min. 3-4 years of post board fellowship in Anesthesiology.
  • Registered member of the Saudi Board Council.
  • Proficiency in English; additional proficiency in Arabic may be beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Provides high-quality Anesthesiology care to pediatric patients.
  • Supervise fellows, staff/assistant physicians, and residents.
  • Participate in training and teaching of residents and fellows.
  • Participate in research activities.

Education

Graduate from a medical school of good standing
Completion of required period of training in Anesthesiology and/or Subspecialty
Saudi Arab or American/European Board Certification or equivalent
Membership and/or Fellowship status in America and/or Europe
A certificate recognized by the Saudi commission is a must

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provides high-quality Anesthesiology care to pediatric patients in this area of medicine.
  • Provide consultative service as requested.
  • Supervise fellows, staff/assistant physicians, and residents.
  • Actively participates in the training and teaching of residents and fellows in his area of expertise and Participates in research activities.
  • Participates in committees and other administrative functions as needed.
  • Performs special procedures as privileged.
  • Follows all hospital-related policies and procedures.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education
  • Graduate from a medical school of good standing.
  • Completion of required period of training in Anesthesiology and/or Subspecialty
  • Saudi Arab or American /European Board Certification or equivalent.
  • Membership and/or Fellowship status in America and/or Europe or their equivalent and fulfilling the criteria for the consultant as required
  • A certificate recognized by the Saudi commission is a must.
  • Dataflow is a must.
Professional Experience
  • Min. 3-4 years Post Board/Fellowship in Anesthesiology.

Language
