Job summary
A leading consulting firm in Riyadh is seeking an experienced accountant to oversee vendor payments, maintain financial records, and ensure compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance and has at least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in contracting or construction sectors. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential for this position.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounting or finance.
- Professionally registered with SOCPA.
- Knowledge of accounting standards and financial regulations.
Responsibilities
- Check vendor's invoices and allocate expenses.
- Maintain vendor Master records in Financial Application.
- Organize disbursement of vendor payments.
- Prepare monthly VAT reports for filing returns.
- Provide annual audit support.

Responsibilities
- Checking of vendor's invoices with Purchase order, GRN etc. and to allocate the expenses to the respective divisions as per the Budget.
- Creation and maintenance of vendor Master record in Financial Application.
- Entering all the payable transactions and organizing the disbursement of vendor payments.
- Paying monthly with Holding Tax and preparation of monthly VAT reports for filing VAT returns.
- Preparation of employee invoices for recovery.
- Providing annual audit support.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance with minimum of 3 years’ experience
- Professionally registered with Saudi Organization for Certified Public Accountants (SOCPA).
- Extensive knowledge of accounting standards and financial regulations.
- Good Computer skills in MS and reasonable knowledge to converse in English.
- Should have basic knowledge of working in ERP environment
- Experience in contracting/construction firms is preferred
- Working Experience/knowledge on Axapta 2012, will be an added advantage
- Good oral and written communication skills
- The ability to work as part of a team
- Excellent analytical and numerical abilities
