Overview
We are seeking a visionary and innovative IT Manager to join our team in AlUla, Saudi Arabia. As the IT Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing our organization's technology infrastructure, implementing cutting-edge solutions, and leading a team of IT professionals to drive our digital transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute IT strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives
- Manage and optimize the company's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and cloud-based systems
- Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment
- Implement robust cybersecurity measures to protect the organization's digital assets and sensitive information
- Oversee IT project management, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgets
- Collaborate with department heads to identify technology needs and provide efficient solutions
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation within the organization
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for IT services and equipment
- Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and best practices
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards in the IT domain
- Prepare and manage the IT department budget
- Provide regular reports on IT performance metrics and project status to senior management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management roles, with a proven track record of successful project implementations
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure management, including networks, servers, and cloud computing platforms
- Expertise in cybersecurity best practices and implementation of security measures
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team of IT professionals
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented approach to work
- Outstanding organizational and time management abilities, with a talent for multi-tasking and prioritizing effectively
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with IT budget management and vendor negotiations
- Familiarity with IT governance frameworks and industry standards (e.g., ITIL, COBIT)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Certifications in relevant IT fields (e.g., PMP, CISSP, ITIL) are a plus
- Willingness to stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends
- Flexibility to work extended hours when required and handle on-call responsibilities
