HSE Inspector

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified HSE Inspector to join our team on a major infrastructure project in Riyadh. The ideal candidate must hold SCE registration in Health and Safety and have at least 5 years of experience in health, safety, and environmental inspection, preferably on infrastructure or construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with HSE policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Monitor construction activities and report unsafe conditions or behaviors.
• Support the implementation of project-specific HSE plans and initiatives.
• Ensure that all personnel on site follow the approved safety protocols and use proper PPE.
• Assist in the investigation of incidents, near misses, and unsafe practices.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, incidents, and safety meetings.
• Provide HSE inductions and training sessions when required.
• Work closely with contractors and the project team to promote a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant HSE inspection experience in infrastructure/construction projects.
• Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) registration in Health and Safety is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of local and international HSE standards and best practices.
• Good communication and reporting skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
• Saudi nationals are preferred as per project and client requirements.
