To act as the workshop’s technical authority, leading advanced diagnostics and complex repairs, while mentoring junior technicians and ensuring full compliance with Jaguar Land Rover standards.

Duties and responsibilities

Perform advanced diagnostics and resolve complex technical issues.

Support and mentor Repair Technicians, providing technical guidance.

Ensure all repairs comply with JLR service standards, bulletins, and warranty requirements.

Liaise with Jaguar Land Rover Technical Support on escalated cases.

Drive improvements in first-time fix rate, workshop productivity, and customer satisfaction.

Provide feedback on product performance and contribute to continuous improvement.

Serve as a role model for technical excellence and brand values in the workshop.

Requirements

Vocational or Technical Diploma in Automotive Technology (or equivalent).

Minimum 4-5 years’ workshop experience with at least 2 years in a senior or master technician capacity.

JLR and OEM accreditation as a Master Technician is preferred.

Advanced expertise in diagnostics, electrical systems, and complex mechanical repairs.

Strong leadership, coaching, and problem-solving skills.

Valid driver’s license.

Physical requirements

Ability to stand, kneel, and work in physically demanding positions for long periods.

Capable of lifting and moving parts or equipment weighing up to 25–30 kg.

Good manual dexterity for precision diagnostic work.

Strong visual and auditory acuity for troubleshooting and safety.

Ability to safely operate workshop equipment and test-drive vehicles when required.
