Position: Head of Shared Services & Control Audit

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

We are supporting a leading financial institution in Saudi Arabia in appointing a Head of Shared Services & Control Audit, reporting to the Chief Audit Executive.

Role overview

This role leads the Shared Services & Control Audit function, delivering a risk-based audit plan and providing independent assurance over governance, risk management, and control environments across centralized operations. The position partners closely with senior management and regulators.

Key responsibilities

• Lead audit strategy and execution for shared services and control functions
• Deliver risk-based audit plans, reporting, and issue remediation
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders on risk and controls
• Manage external auditors, regulators, and co-sourcing partners
• Lead regulatory reviews, investigations, and special assignments
• Drive value-added insights through root-cause and emerging risk analysis
• Build and lead high-performing audit teams

Requirement

• 10+ years’ experience in audit, with 5+ years in senior leadership roles
• Strong background in shared services, controls, and banking operations
• Deep knowledge of Saudi regulatory frameworks
• Proven stakeholder management and leadership capability
• Bilingual Arabic & English
