Job Description - GOLDesp Supply instructor (00133451)
Responsibilities
- Teach in the relevant subject area according to the approved syllabus such as RSAF Goldesp For Supply specialist course no (30191), RSAF Enlisted and officer supply courses no ( 30090 / 30221) and (20016) RSAF Carrier development course 5 skill level , (20017) RSAF Carrier development course 7 skill level , (20018) OJT Trainer Training Techniques.
- Deliver or supervise demonstrations in the relevant subject area.
- Conduct visits to relevant areas of interest.
- Conduct regular assessments to ensure students are progressing academically.
- Conduct phase-end examinations to ensure training objectives have been achieved.
- Adopt and promote independent learning and a military ethos in line with the training environment.
- Provide on‑going evaluation of students discipline as part of their final assessment.
- Counsel and motivate students, where applicable, on relevant academic and discipline issues.
- Record students’ academic assessment results.
- Record any discipline issues with students.
- Provide regular reports concerning student’s academic progress, lesson attendance and discipline.
- Report any other relevant issues whenever required or deemed appropriate.
- Regularly review the area’s courseware related to Goldesp supply.
- Recommend changes to the course material relevant to Goldesp supply.
- Review and recommend changes to assessment material in the subject area related to Goldesp supply.
- Apply RSAF procedures for configuration control of curriculum and courseware, including preparing documentation and supporting data for curriculum or courseware change requests.
- Integrate new training materials or equipment into the relevant course.
- Ensure all training equipment is properly maintained and stored.
- Contribute to preparation of timetables, scheduling and allocation of instructors.
- Ensure compliance with SHE policy and processes and Duty of Care responsibilities.
- Undertake all mandatory and developmental training as required by the Company.
- Adhere to acceptable standards of behavior, dress and performance as defined in Company policy.
- Provide feedback to management to improve service performance and responsiveness and identify opportunities.
- Perform additional tasks as requested by the customer that can be construed as a reasonable activity for a professional teacher / instructor.
- Perform all instructor's duties.
Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of a Service or Civilian Technical Training Institute.
- Must be qualified instructor and have completed a formal Instructional Techniques Course.
- Must have a knowledge of RSAFM 105-31 - Technical, Academic and Professional Training Procedures.
- Completion of the RSAF Goldesp For Supply specialist course no (30191).
- Must have a minimum of 3 years recent classroom experience as Technical Instructor.
- A minimum of 8 years practical experience in equipment service and Maintenance, appropriate to this field and must be skill level 7 or equivalent to it.
- A minimum of 8 years practical and progressive experience in Supply/Logistics Support and must be skill level 7 or equivalent to it.
- Must have a good understanding of the GOLDesp Supply/ logistics operating system.
- Must have a sound knowledge of the RSAF Manuals 4-7167-1 Series, d 05 Series.
- Computer literate, with a fully conversant working knowledge of Microsoft Office; especially MS Word and PowerPoint.
