Job Purpose
To provide advanced medical care and support to patients in PHM department in our scope of services. The Family Medicine Senior Registrar & Registrar will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical care, promoting health education, and supporting the overall patient care plan in Primary Care centre, Telehealth and Home health care as well.

Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Care: Provide comprehensive medical care to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
- Perform advanced clinical procedures as required, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Manage and monitor patients with acute and chronic conditions, coordinating care with other healthcare professionals.
- Conduct routine physical examinations, screenings, and preventive care interventions.
- Participate in, offering specialized care in family medicine field services.
- Provide care continuity for patients with long-term health conditions.
- Patient Education and Support: Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and treatment plans.
- Provide counselling on medication management, chronic disease care, and lifestyle modifications.
- Develop and distribute tailored educational materials on family health and wellness.
- Support patients in understanding and managing their healthcare needs.
- Coordination and Collaboration: Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including nurses, specialists, and other physicians, to ensure integrated patient care.
- Coordinate patient care activities to provide seamless transitions between primary care and other healthcare services.
- Act as a liaison between family medicine and other medical specialties for complex cases.
- Quality and Compliance: Adhere to healthcare regulations, standards, and protocols.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with patient safety and infection control measures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records and documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
- Ensure compliance with medical regulations and guidelines in family medicine practice.
- Professional Development: Stay updated on advances in family medicine, treatment protocols, and healthcare trends.
- Participate in continuing medical education (CME) and professional development activities.
- Mentor and supervise junior doctors, residents as needed.
Qualifications
- Education
- 1-For Senior Registrar: MD Or Equivalent in Family Medicine Speciality.
- 2-For Registrar: Master’s degree or Equivalent in Family Medicine Speciality.
- Licensure and Certification
- Valid medical license in Saudi Arabia Arabia from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialities (SCFHS).
- Experience
- - Clinical experience in family medicine services.
- - Experience in patient management and education.
- - Proficiency in performing medical procedures relevant to family medicine.
- Skills
- - Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
- - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- - Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- - Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and other healthcare technologies.
Working Conditions
- Environment: Work is performed in Primary Healthcare Centre, Telehealth Services, and Home health care visits.
- Hours:
- 1) Full-time position with varying shifts, including weekends and holidays when needed.
- 2) Part-time position with fixed hour weekly & shifts, including weekends and holidays as Organized by manager of PHC.
