Overview

Job Title: Enterprise Architect – Banking Domain
Location: Riyadh, KSA
Employment Type: 1 Year extendable (Under Marc Ellis)

Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Enterprise Architect with 15+ years of proven expertise in the banking sector, covering Retail Banking, Corporate Banking, and Digital Banking domains. The successful candidate will define and oversee the bank’s enterprise architecture strategy, ensuring alignment between business goals and technology solutions, while driving large-scale digital transformation and innovation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Define, design, and govern the enterprise architecture framework in alignment with the bank’s strategic objectives.
• Lead the architecture roadmap for Retail, Corporate, and Digital banking, ensuring scalable, secure, and innovative solutions.
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to translate business requirements into target architectures and technology solutions.
• Drive the adoption of emerging technologies (cloud, API-driven integration, microservices, data analytics, cybersecurity, AI/ML, blockchain, etc.) to enhance digital banking services.
• Ensure standardization and optimization across systems, applications, and infrastructure.
• Provide architectural guidance on core banking transformation programs, payment systems, CRM, and digital channels.
• Oversee solution designs, conduct architectural reviews, and ensure adherence to governance, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain architecture principles, guidelines, and best practices for the enterprise.
• Mentor and guide architecture teams, fostering knowledge sharing and capability building.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on technology trends, risks, and opportunities in the financial services industry.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 15+ years of IT experience, with at least 7–10 years in enterprise/solution architecture roles within the banking domain.
• Strong domain knowledge across Retail Banking, Corporate Banking, Digital Banking, Wealth Management, Payments, and Channels.
• Proven expertise in architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman, or equivalent).
• Hands-on experience with core banking systems, digital platforms, APIs, cloud technologies, and integration platforms.
• Solid understanding of data architecture, information security, and regulatory requirements in banking.
• Experience leading large-scale digital transformation and core banking modernization programs.
• Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills.
• Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, AWS/Azure Architect, or equivalent are highly desirable.
