Overview – Role

Jensen Hughes is now seeking an experienced Engineer – FLS Inspections and Audit to join our operations in Makkah. In this role you will be responsible for conducting operations and maintenance fire protection and life safety inspections. This role involves working closely with the various stakeholders in the Fire protection team to ensure compliance with local codes and standards.

This is a client‑facing role and requires a solid technical understanding of Fire and Life Safety principles, and excellent communication & organization skills. In this role, you will demonstrate experience and passion in Code Consulting, Performance Based Design, and Fire Protection Systems Design.

• Witness and document Operation and Maintenance inspections and testing of fire protection and suppression systems, fire alarms, manual fire suppression equipment, smoke control system and emergency power
• Conduct visual inspections of passive fire protection systems, egress routes, and life safety provisions
• Verify all results meet the acceptance criteria defined by NFPA and other international standards.
• Review the maintenance records of fire and life safety systems

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years to 9 years of experience in the relevant field
• Experience in operation and maintenance is preferred
• Ability to enter and work in Makkah
• Fluent in Arabic (preferred); English proficiency required
• Ability to travel across KSA, working in diverse environments
