  • PURPOSE STATEMENT : Promote "It is not what you sell, but how you sell it" "one team feeling" and live it. Develop and grow BuildMate Saudi Arabia.

Principal Accountabilities
  • General Duties : Manage and oversee daily operations. Maintain company reputation. Drive company values and standards. Implement open-door communication. Promote company products and services.
  • Operations : Lead operational activities, taking responsibility for business development, revenue, profit, expenses, and quality targets. Invite Building Materials Suppliers and Contractors to BuildMate. Manage client meetings. Lead the sales team. Stay updated on KSA market developments. Hold weekly staff meetings. Monitor Senior Business Developer activity via CRM. Manage sales force performance and client complaints. Manage client contracts and ensure team achieves goals. Manage shortfalls and provide recommendations.
  • Strategy : Identify strategic partners and revenue streams. Prepare organizational structure. Deliver targets, budgets, plans, forecasts, KPIs, and reports. Review and agree on annual budgets. Work with Senior Business Developers on action plans. Execute marketing, sales, and operational activities.
  • Governance : Coordinate with other departments (HR, Finance, Marketing, etc.). Monitor implementation of company policies. Manage monetary authority for purchases. Authority to set up the country office following standard policies. Establish preventive maintenance programs. Ensure CEO approval for press releases. Understand and comply with government regulations. Manage office utilities, logistics, maintenance, disciplinary issues, vendors, notices, outsourced staff, and records.
  • People Management : Responsible for recruitment, training, appraisal, rewarding, discipline, addressing complaints, and resolving problems. Recruit per pre-approved budget. Can consult HR Manager for a second opinion on candidates. CEO approval needed for exceptions to manpower budget. Measured on embodying company values, talent attraction / development, diversity, measuring sales team performance by new clients, setting goals, and employee career development support. Ensure timely personnel reviews. Build company's local reputation.

  • Internal : CEO, outsourced services heads, own operations teams.
  • External : Potential clients, contractors, service providers, suppliers. Ready for travel.
Person Specification
  • Education : Bachelor\'s degree (engineering preferred) or business administration / related field (Master\'s preferred). Postgraduate degree in sales, finance, project management acceptable.
  • Experience : Startup experience in Contractors, Building Materials Suppliers, Heavy Equipment sectors in KSA. Min 10 years B2B / corporate services sales (preferably digital).
