Job summary
A construction materials company in Johor Bahru is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support the preparation of tender documents and cost estimation. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Quantity Surveying along with 1-2 years of experience in the construction sector. Strong analytical skills, the ability to work independently, and a keen interest in the QS field are essential. This role offers contract employment with the possibility of becoming permanent. Must possess own transport and be willing to travel.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of working experience in construction or precast is preferred.
- Strong interest in the QS and construction industry.
- Good understanding of construction drawings and specifications.
- Ability to work under less supervision.
- Possess own transport and willing to travel.
Responsibilities
- Support in preparation of tender documents including BOQ.
- Taking off quantity and preparing cost estimation.
- Preparation of interim and final payment certificates.
- Ad hoc duties as assigned.
Skills
Education
