Job summary
A leading HR consultancy firm in Malaysia is seeking an experienced HR Manager to oversee the full employee lifecycle, manage payroll, and ensure compliance with employment laws. Candidates should have over 5 years of progressive HR experience and strong knowledge of Malaysian employment practices. Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and analytical skills are essential. This role offers the opportunity to develop effective HR strategies and collaborate with senior leaders to drive organizational change.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally in a consultancy or generalist HR role.
- Strong working knowledge of Malaysian employment laws and best practices.
- Proactive, adaptable and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment and employee relations.
- Develop HR strategies to attract, develop and retain top talent.
- Oversee payroll administration and ensure compliance with laws.
Skills
Education

Oversee payroll administration and arrangement.
Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations
Provide HR business partnering support to senior leaders and managers
Analyse HR data and metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
Collaborate with other departments to drive organisational change and continuous improvement
5+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally in a consultancy or generalist HR role
Strong working knowledge of Malaysian employment laws and best practices
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels
Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making
Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
Proactive, adaptable and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business or a related field
