Prepares and coordinates import/export documentation to ensure compliance to country of origin’s export regulations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS PERFORMED
1. Coordinates and prepares import/export documents such as licensing determinations, etc.
2. Reviews and ensures invoices, shipping, and/or import/export documentation is accurate and conforms to legal, government, and/or customs regulations.
3. Computes duties, tariffs, price conversions, weight, and volume of merchandise exported to/from destinations.
4. Generates, files, and maintains shipment documentation to ensure accurate record keeping requirements.
5. Follows-up with shipment delays due to documentation issues.
6. Responsible for the execution, control, and monitoring of foreign trade operations (import and export)
7. Review and integration of documents for the foreign trade file
8, Ensure timely follow-up on the dispatch of shipments to avoid incurring additional expenses
9. Communication with transport companies and customs agencies to ensure the efficient flow of foreign trade operations
10. Adapt to rotating operations role
11. Fixed asset management and control

SUMMARY OF MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in Foreign Trade, International Business, or related field.
• 3 to 5 years of work experience in international traffic or foreign trade and customs.
• Knowledge of customs law, RGCE, and LIGIE.
• Spoken and written English (80% desirable).
• Ability to work under pressure and with a high sense of urgency.
• Proficiency with the IXPORT system.
• Detail-oriented and proactive.
