The ideal candidate should have a technical degree in Automation Maintenance and at least 1 year of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Education
Maintenance Technician
Performs installations, repairs and maintenance on automation production machines and equipment. Performs work in one or more of the maintenance trades: equipment repair, electrical, robots, PLC, and/or general maintenance. Conducts routine periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns on machines and/or equipment. Services, troubleshoots and solves production process/equipment problems for robots and PLCs. Involved with securing and/or monitoring work performed by vendors. Maintains ability to work safely and adhere to safety standards. Ability to read schematics on hardwire / relay logic, controls – PLC and industrial PC.
- Perform installations, repairs and preventive maintenance on automation production machines and equipment.
- Work across maintenance trades: equipment repair, electrical, robotics, PLCs, and/or general maintenance.
- Conduct routine inspections to determine repair and maintenance needs to prevent breakdowns.
- Service, troubleshoot and resolve production process/equipment problems for robots and PLCs.
- Coordinate and monitor work performed by vendors as needed.
- Maintain safety practices and adhere to safety standards in all tasks.
- Read and interpret schematics for hardwired/relay logic, controls, PLCs and industrial PCs.
- Technical degree in Automation Maintenance.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a maintenance technician in a large and fast-paced manufacturing facility.
