Established in , today we employ talented professionals across 2 production sites and one distribution centre at our facilities in Celaya and Villagran, Guanajuato.

With a footprint of 251,439m2 and over 151 productions lines we produce CV Drive shafts and Propshafts at our state-of the-art manufacturing sites which include a forging operation.

The Mexico operations represent a critical regional facility for GKN Automotive and have also been recognized internationally for excellence and innovation.

Establishes plans and programs to continuously monitor and improve the flow of materials and information in the value chain based on established company guidelines.

Industrial Engineering or equivalent.

• Advanced English.
• 3 years of experience in production planning and material flow.

• Analyze SIOP plan to design and update main Value Chain parameters (Intervals, supermarket size, line loading, etc.).
• Develop weekly MS plan.
• Identify potential flow disruption risks within the value chain and facilitate containment actions and initiate escalation process.
• Contribute with the compliance of the value chain indicators, DSA.
• Lead Time, Inventory Turns, Intervals, etc.
• Perform continuous improvement in the flow of materials and information through the value chain.
• Coordinate with material planning manager the availability of raw materials and subcontracts to ensure flow within the value chain.
• Participate in the development of visual management tools to monitor the health of the supermarkets within the value chain.
• Participate in the reduction of lost time due to material availability, measured against LTA.

• Proficient in Supply Chain APICS tools (CPIM desirable).
• Proficient in value chain mapping tools, mix models and shared resource management.
• Use analysis and problem solving tools.
• Use of MFG Pro system.
• Knowledge of GKN processes.
• Proficient in Supply Chain tools.
• Use Office packages at a basic level.
• PMCIL
• Proficient in Lean tools.
• Uses operations research and transportation models.
