The role involves analyzing transportation plans, improving logistics operations, and supporting the team in resolving issues. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and demonstrate strong analytical skills. Fluency in English and leadership experience are preferred. This full-time position requires a 24/7 availability and is 100% face-to-face, emphasizing a collaborative team environment.

Role:

Analyzes and develops transportation plans to control the movement of commodities throughout a manufacturing or distribution network to ensure the smooth running of operations at optimal transportation cost levels.

What you'll do:

• Analyzing transportation plans and identifying opportunities for improvements to meet client needs.
• Implementing and maintaining monitoring systems to provide information on shipment status, shipped date, in transit location, estimated arrival date, and actual delivery date.
• Generating and analyzing reports of transportation costs, carrier performance and lead times.
• Assisting in the development of process flows to track lead time by activity and providing solutions to reduce lead times.
• Providing the team support to resolve operational situations with suppliers, dealers, carriers and/or CAT facilities.
• Coaching the team on developing professional skills according to the needs/requirements of their role.

Education Required:

• Bachelor's degree related to a Supply Chain field of choice
• Fluent English (Intermediate to Advanced)

Transportation – PHA

• Ensuring punctual shipments and resolving logistical incidents.
• Knowledge of costs, invoicing and freight payments.
• Evaluation of national transport alternatives.
• Participation in bidding processes and analysis of carrier proposals.

Supply Chain Management

• Identification of systems and software components for supply chain management and ability to seek process automation.
• Process analysis to detect trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Have worked in at least one of the following supply chain areas: purchasing, logistics, inventory, or distribution.

Considerations for the best candidates:

• Green Belt certification or some Lean certification
• Have worked in a similar or related position to Supply Chain
• Leadership Skills
• Advanced English
