OPERATIONS

The Operations team serves as the backbone of our marketplace, seamlessly managing the entire order journey. From creating online content and ensuring secure payments to order fulfillment and delivery, while providing comprehensive customer and partner care, this team is relentlessly focused on improving the customer experience every single day.

THE ROLE

In this generalist role, you'll create an excellent experience for our Mexico-based Farfetchers at all stages of the employee journey. While advocating for our values, you'll have an 'amaze customer' approach and will provide timely and credible advice and counsel. You will work across specific client groups, working with the People Partners to support the People Team agenda. You will also contribute to and lead on local projects which help us to create a culture where our people excel.

What You’ll Do
  • You will partner with the People Team to support the implementation of strategic initiatives and cyclical HR processes across the employee lifecycle—such as Onboarding, Offboarding, helping with talent acquisition, performance and compensation cycles, and employee engagement planning
  • You will provide guidance on employee relations matters, policies, procedures, and employment legislation in alignment with our company values
  • You will manage the onboarding process end-to-end, including welcome communications, system and access setup, and leading engaging onboarding sessions
  • You will conduct exit interviews and collaborate with People Coordinators to ensure a smooth offboarding experience, leveraging insights to help improve employee retention
  • You will lead small to medium-scale HR projects and contribute to larger cross-functional initiatives across the People Team and broader business
  • You will stay informed on changes in employment legislation and emerging HR trends, proactively bringing new ideas and improvements to the team
  • You will support office management responsibilities, including the receipt and distribution of IT equipment
Who You Are
  • You have 3+ years of generalist HR experience
  • You have knowledge of Mexico employment law and practices, have managed varied and complex casework and can discreetly deal with varied and sensitive situations
  • You enjoy working with people and building relationships at all levels and across departments
  • You can coach managers to engage and motivate their teams, deploying an empathetic approach, always living by our 'Be Human' value of authenticity, respect and doing the right thing
  • You have a service-driven attitude, with a focus on the employee experience and continuous improvement approach
  • You are meticulous and detail oriented, advocating for data protection
  • You have experience in HR data processes. A full working knowledge of Workday would be an advantage
  • You are fluent in English and Spanish
