A leading technology company in Ciudad Juárez is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee warehouse operations, ensure compliance with safety standards, and maintain inventory accuracy. Responsibilities include resolving shipment discrepancies, supervising staff, and implementing corrective actions. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field and have supervisory experience in a warehouse. Warehouse Supervisor
Essential Job Functions
  • Responsible for resolving discrepancies with shipments to central warehouses.
  • To make good flow and controls of materials to production lines.
  • Direct communication with all departments to ensure company productivity.
  • Maintain inventory and cycle count program at a minimum level of 95% accuracy in warehouse.
  • Direct communication with freight companies to resolve cases of damaged products and discrepancies.
  • Responsible for analyzing system transactions and determining causes and errors and implementing corrective actions.
  • Oversee Kanban program.
  • Directly supervise that the group of employees under his charge comply with the established policies and programs.
  • Maintain continuous reviews that allow the maintenance of cleanliness and order of all storage and shipping areas.
  • Oversee all receipting, staging, and material transfers to ensure 95% minimum inventory accuracy.
  • Ensure ISO 9000 procedures are carried out and complied with (as applicable).
  • Oversee the proper functioning of the area, verify that the production department is well serviced and that transactions are made correctly in the system.
  • Check excess inventories for quantities required and try to eliminate them according to production schedules.
  • Provide employees with training in accordance with their positions and enforce company policies.
  • Responsible for accurately maintaining the consignment system and resolving any consignment system discrepancies.
  • Comply with safety standards and techniques (0 accidents in the area).
  • Supervise the work activities of his staff under his charge.
  • Perform reconciliations with suppliers to the consignment system.
  • Maintain a minimum of 75% accuracy in wip inventories.
  • Coordinate the flow of raw material and finished product.
  • Audit and coordinate cyclic raw material counts at all locations as required.
  • Other activities inherent to the position.
