Una empresa de tecnología busca un Gerente de Operaciones en Tijuana, Baja California, responsable de las operaciones diarias y planificación a corto/largo plazo. El candidato ideal contará con una licenciatura o maestría y más de 5 años de experiencia en liderazgo de manufactura. Se requiere capacidad para gestionar equipos y experiencia en herramientas de manufactura esbelta. Las responsabilidades incluyen asegurar el cumplimiento de los procedimientos operativos y lograr los KPI de operaciones.

Formación

• 5+ años de experiencia en liderazgo en manufactura.
• Experiencia previa como líder operativo.
• Habilidades de planificación y organización eficaces.

Responsabilidades

• Gestionar las operaciones diarias y la planificación para los grupos bajo su responsabilidad.
• Asegurar el cumplimiento de las áreas de producción y su mantenimiento.
• Lograr los KPI de operaciones como seguridad y eficiencia.

TE Connectivity's Operations Managers are responsible for the day-to‑day operations and short/long‑term planning for the groups they manage. They manage manufacturing, production control, engineering, inventory control, EH&S, shipping/receiving, etc. focusing on the development of technologies and continuous improvement and translating customer requirements into state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing strategies and processes.

What your background should look like

• Providing ECE (excellent customer experience) and customer service, total quality and a positive employee environment.
• Driving Continuous Improvement in line with strategy (TEOA).
• Establishing and operating production areas in a safe, environmentally sound and prudent manner and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Ensuring that the production areas are maintained in accordance with the Operational and Manufacturing procedures and best practices within the Business Unit.
• Ensure to achieve Operations KPI's (Safety, COPQ, Productivity, Efficiency and Conversion Cost)

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Master's degree with 5+ yrs of manufacturing leadership experience
• Prior experience working as an Operational Leader with proven experience.
• Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure, effectively managing competing priorities with available resources.
• Experienced in leading and creating a high performing team.
• Deep knowledge of lean manufacturing tools and CI (5S, Six Sigma, VST)
• Strong oral and written communications
• Project Management skills
• IT Skills (SAP, MS, Office)
• Recommends best work practices and improvements; coaching employees to be the best version of themselves
